A poor sequel to a delightful movie We loved “Gnomeo and Juliet” when it came out. That movie was funny, charming, and had great music. So we were looking forward to the sequel. Sadly, the sequel is a huge disappointment. First, it really has nothing to do with GNOMES. The first movie takes off on the idea of “what would garden gnomes be like or do if they were alive?” Of course, they’d have lawnmower races, among other things.
