Camco’s Folding RV Step is an extra-wide 8″ by 19″ platform with angled legs to provide stability. The folding legs lock open for an overall height of 8.75″. The gripper strips on the platform help keep you on solid footing. It folds down to only 2″ high for easy storage. The heavy-duty steel-frame weighs only 8 lbs. but supports up to 300 lbs.

1st One Failed, 2nd Defective – Done With CAMCO Purchased this step for our new camper. Just after delivery, I stepped on it and a weld on a brace broke and the step collapsed. I weighed 173 lbs fully dressed at my Dr’s appointment 2 weeks ago so it wasn’t overstressed. Area where weld broke was rusted. See photos. Decided to give CAMCO the benefit of the doubt so ordered a replacement. I would not recommend this product to anyone I like and use this stool for my travel trailer. I use it when I need an extra step due to leveling. It folds up nicely and has so far taken the load of myself and my family. I am on the heavier side so I was not sure how well this would do with the given design, but it claims to hold 250 and I am that or maybe a few pounds over on a given day. I have also hauled gear in and out of the camper using this step successfully.The only issue that I have not been able to overcome with this…
